"I wanted to share my experience with Zoomworks to everyone who is seeking out a
photographer for a special event.

I had the pleasure of working with Marisu for the first time back in 2000. I
was so enamored by the photojournalistic style and quality of her work and her
amazing personality, that I knew if I ever had another occasion to use a
professional photographer, it would be her.

Well, I just got married, and Marisu was my immediate choice for a photographer.
I won’t lie, I did have a few concerns since I hadn't used Marisu in 8 years.
Because she and her company have become so well known and widely respected,
would she be out of my price range? And, my wedding was going to be out of the
country – how could we possibly make this happen?

When I contacted Marisu, she immediately put my anxieties at ease. She was
thrilled by the prospect of photographing in the Dominican Republic and was very
willing to work thru all the details and comprise a plan that worked with my
modest budget….and totally exceeded my expectations and desires.

Working with Marisu and her team was far more than a photographer / client
business transaction. Marisu is one of the most genuine, friendly, caring,
intuitive, fun and professional people I have ever worked with. She really
listens to what her clients want, gets a feel for your personality and is a
master at adapting to people and situations.

Marisu and her assistant, Jennifer made my wedding photography experience a
highlight of my trip to the Dominican Republic. They were completely prepared,
organized and ready for everything involved in going to DR to photograph my
wedding – for a very organized and uptight bride, this was a huge relief. Then
we had 2 full days of photography - some shots were just relaxed, pre-wedding
pictures around the beautiful resort, then we had a pre-wedding party on the
beach and lastly the entire wedding day. Marisu and Jen worked so many hours
and took so many photographs – and did it all with huge smiles on their faces –
they truly enjoy what they do and want to get the very best pictures, every
time.

To me, photographs are one of the most important elements to a special event.
Pictures help capture the moment and allow you to relive the joy for years to
come. Marisu and Jen took amazing photographs, capturing the most special
moments. Their style of photography really tells a beautiful story. It amazes
me how they capture the greatest moments – and you never know they are doing it.
There are everywhere and nowhere all at the same time. My husband I and many
of our wedding guests said they were able to relive one of the most magical
trips of their lives by looking at the pictures. And the way they captured the
true expressions and joy on everyone’s faces brought some to tears.

Anyone in need of a photographer should contact Zoomworks. They are highly
professional, amazingly creative, wonderful people that are willing to work with
clients needs and budgets. Their goal is to make wonderful memories for you,
and they certainly do.

My husband and I are proud to say that Marisu is our photographer for life, and
